« Get Your Game On - Pepsi, Apps, and Men Behaving Badly »

I thought I'd round out the week with this video.  This is in fact real and not a joke.  There are just so many things to think about: the media, pop culture, technology, sexism.  I find the entire marketing campaign both comical and disturbing.  I am laughing at how ridiculous the whole thing is while not being terribly offended.  This is perhaps the most disturbing part.

Can't help myself.  Here is one last jab at the iPhone.  But as infuriating as the little bugger is, I still can't part with it.

From the immortal lines of Brokeback Mountain, "I wish I knew how to quit you."  Such an addictive little gadget it is.

The second one was very funny. Does it make me a bad person if I laughed more because they said a rude word?

The first one is not so much offensive, as a sad indictment of the state of the societal mind.

Hi Jen!

Just wanted to let you know I stopped by to read this post, but because I still have dialup internet (talk about being behind in the times) it's taking forever for these to load.

But knowing how you and I feel the same about technology and the media - I'll agree with ya!

However, I do think it's time for me to ugrade to DSL, don't you think?

HA!

Have a great weekend, my friend!

Holy crap, that first one is RIDICULOUS! They have got to be kidding. And unfortunately, they aren't. And the second one is hilarious!

Pixie and Hip Hop - Yes, I thought they were pretty funny. It is unbelievable that Pepsi and Apple would allow that kind of app.

Ron - You do need DSL my friend. Dial up is from the stone age.

Ok - the pepsi app was disgusting, but that last video was freaking hysterical. I haven't sucummbed to the iPhone's call yet but I have lots of friends that have!

Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest!!

The second clip cracked me up!! I don't think I would be able to put my phone down if I had one of those....so my phone is just a phone.

Thanks for the laugh Jen :)

But...I'm into short, schizophrenic amputees. Is there an app for them?

Hey Jen!

Geez....the first one was definitely disturbing. I wudn't have believed it was for real, had you not told me.

The 2nd one was funny! So, do you love or hate your iPhone? I've just gotten a Blackberry myself. I guess I'm on the other team?!

Peace,

The first one: Another cave in to political correctness.
The second one: Funny spoof.

That is crazy. I am not sure what Pepsi was thinking. P.S. That Artistry commercial beforehand made me laugh. Amway, Quixtar and that whole brand is simply an elaborate pyramid scheme. LOL. Run, Pepsi, run...
